「The Boy With The Thorn In His Side」(ザ・ボーイ・ウィズ・ザ・トーン・イン・ヒズ・サイド)は、イギリスのロックバンド、ザ・スミスが1986年6月16日にラフ・トレード・レコードからリリースした3枚目のスタジオアルバム『ザ・クイーン・イズ・デッド』に収録された曲。
女優のマージ・クラークとのインタビューでモリッシーはこう語っている。「その棘は音楽業界のことなんだ。僕が言うことを信じようとしなかった人たち、僕を排除しようとした人たち、僕のレコードをかけようとしなかった人たちのことを指しているんだ。だから今になっても彼らが僕を信じないなら、これから先、信じることなんてあるだろうかと思うよ」
